Use a recovery code
If you've lost every passkey, a recovery code gets you back in to your Itsmi profile. You'll make a new Itsmi passkey on this device: when it asks where to save it, choose a password manager that syncs.
Uses up the code, and makes a new passkey for your Itsmi profile. If it's locked, this unlocks it too.
What's this? If you've lost every passkey
- Go to whoois.app/recover, and enter one of your recovery codes.
- Make a new passkey, and save it in a password manager that syncs.
- On your Itsmi profile's page, remove the passkeys you've lost, and make new recovery codes: the one you used no longer works.
Lost your recovery codes too? Your Itsmi profile's email can get you back in, after 24 hours: see 'Recovering by email'.
Lost a device, but have another with your passkey? Then sign in with that one, and remove the lost device's passkey if it didn't sync.
Keep your recovery codes safe: without a passkey, they are the quickest way back in.
